Tooth Wipe Study

Question: Have any studies been done to show the effectiveness of the Spiffies Tooth Wipe?


Yes, a recent study was done on the effectiveness of a "Novel Infant Tooth Wipe in High Caries-Risk (at risk for cavities) Babies 8 to 15 months of age." Presented at the AAPD Annual Session in May, 2006 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The purpose was as pediatric dentists diagnose infants with Early Childhood Caries, (ECC) each this detrimental disease could have been prevented or greatly minimized. The purpose of this study was to assess baby and parental satisfaction and plaque-removal efficacy of a novel infant tooth wipe (Spiffies Baby Tooth Wipes™).
